What is
an Ecolodge? Technically, ecolodge is a new term used to describe
a type of building that incorporates the values of conservation and
environmental stewardship onto its operation, management and often
design. Ecolodges are generally located in pristine natural areas,
however most are quite accessible. All ecolodges that we feature in
programs are committed to the conservation of natural habitats and
operating with as little environmental impact as possible. Eco Tours
are committed to leaving a small footprint while ensuring that local
people benefit from tourism. By creating direct links between the
economic benefits of ecotourism and the protection of biodiversity,
we've found that people who earn their living from ecotourism are
more likely to protect their natural resources and support conservation
efforts. Freestyle Vacations: Many of our
tours and packages are locally guided and operated giving you maximum
flexibility with great value. We offer these for people wanting more
flexibility than set departure tours. Departures are guaranteed with
a minimum of 2 passengers and depart either daily or at specific days
of the week. We also offer short modules at that you can piece together
or take on their own if you are travelling independently but want
to take part in a special organised package. Tours
