This unique coastal adventures is the real way to see the Inside Passage. Aboard our small ships, we can take you to remote destinations and get up close with ancient native culture, wildlife and spectacular coastal scenery.
The central coast region of British Columbia’s scenic and intricate shoreline has a long history.
Stretching from Vancouver Island north along the mainland coast, it forms a significant section of the famous ‘Inside Passage’ route to Alaska – a term that started with the gold rush of the 1800’s. Many of the gold seekers stayed on the coast, attracted by the enormous trees and waters full of salmon. Native peoples have lived along this coast for at least 10,000 years, and built a renowned culture based upon these same fish and trees. Now the native peoples are centered in a few, small coastal villages with names like Alert Bay, Bella Bella, Klemtu and Hartley Bay. | Tour Includes: All meals from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the last day; all accommodation onboard ship; skipper, cook, naturalist; full use of all onboard facilities. | ||||
| Not Included: Transportation to the start point and from the finish point of the trip; any accommodation or meals prior to the start of the trip or after the completion; travel or cancellation insurance; airport transfers and applicable taxes. The only money participants require during the trip is for optional purchases and gratuities for the crew. | ||||
| Deposit: A $500 deposit per person is required to reserve a space. The balance of payment is due 75 days prior to departure. | ||||
| Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchase of trip cancellation insurance. | ||||
| Additional Comments: Prices are in Canadian Dollars. Canadian taxes will be added in addition to trips in British Columbia. Dates and prices are subject to change.
