This is a very unique tour taking in the lush Iguazu Falls rainforest, the wildlife of Pantanal freshwater flood plain, and freshwater snorkeling the tropical rivers and springs of Bonito.
The Pantanal is another little
known ecological gem, a vast wetlands in the
center of South America covering 130,000
sq. kilometers (50,000 sq. miles). A perfect
ecological niche for a great number of birds,
reptiles and other animals to the delight of
wildlife watchers and photographers. The last
zone is nestled in a private forest reserve in
the Southern Brazilian Amazon rainforest. This
unique region contains many species found
only in this part of the Amazon. The area
contains pristine forest and aquatic habitats
that support a very rich fauna and flora, and it
has been described as an Amazon sanctuary.
